Adel N. Nucho

Attorney Adel Nucho provides support for clients in zoning and land use matters, including religious land use cases arising under the Religious Land Use & Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA). He also works on various transactional matters for small businesses.

Prior to his work with Dalton & Tomich, PLC, Adel served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert H. Cleland in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan. He also served as a Student Attorney at the Federal Pro Se Clinic in the same court.

As a law student, Adel received a variety of academic honors, including the Book Award for Civil Procedure, Evidence, Contracts, and the Federal Pro Se Legal Assistance Clinic.

Adel was also an active leader and member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates. As a leader, he served as an Executive Director and worked primarily on drafting the problem for the 2019 Patrick A. Keenan Appellate Competition. As a contestant in the 2018 Patrick A. Keenan Appellate Competition, he was the recipient of the 3rd place Best Oralist award. Moreover, his national moot court team made it to the octofinals round in New York.
